Century Architectural Specialties
Ordering
All orders can be telephoned, faxed or e-mailed
to Century Architectural Specialties. All orders must include;
a Purchase Order number. Purchase orders are accepted only if
business terms of payment have been extended by Century.
Minimum Order - Orders of a minimum NET value of $50.00 or
less will incur a $15.00 packaging and handling charge.
Change Orders - Add-ons or deletions for standard items will
be accepted within 24 hours after receipt of order without
penalty. Add-ons or deletions after 48 hours may affect scheduled
ship date and freight charges. Century will however, do everything
it can to maintain the original scheduled ship date. Cancellations
or change orders shipped within 24 hours per customer request
will incur a restocking fee.
Order Cancellations - Cancellations for standard items will
not incur any penalties within 24 hours after receipt of order,
unless customer has requested shipment within 24 hours. All
orders cancelled 24 hours after receipt of order may be subject
to restocking fees.
Cancellations of Custom Orders - Are subject to full charge
back for all work performed prior to cancellation of order.
Centreflex™ Radius and Formaflex™ Contour mouldings
are considered custom products and are deemed non-cancellable.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices contained
in our Price Guide are suggested list price. Confirmation of
all pricing of Century products will be confirmed at time of
order.
Shipping
Freight is FOB Marietta, Georgia unless otherwise specified. Carriers can include UPS, FedEx Ground or common carrier. Weights per piece and per carton are approximate and may vary. Our information binder lists by piece and by case when product can be shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground, however, restrictions by these carriers may prevent multiple or large number of pieces to be shipped in a single carton. Carrier can be confirmed at time of order.
On all orders Century will confirm scheduled ship date. A
2-3 day allowable variance should be considered.
Orders requiring special or early lead times will be subject
to additional freight and handling charges.
Freight
Unless otherwise specified, all freight costs are to be paid
by the customer and will be shipped and invoiced from our
Marietta, GA facility.
Freight estimates may be provided upon customer request at
time of order. Customer must provide shipping details including
preferred carrier information. All shipping costs will be
quoted as an "estimate", as it is difficult to ascertain
precise costs due to numerous factors beyond our control.
Customers may be charged additionally if shipments are:
shipped to a residential address
if carrier must call before delivery
if "drop ship" charges are forwarded
if shipment requires special handling or delivery as dictated
by customer
if shipment is shipped COD
Century reserves the right to select a preferred carrier when
deemed necessary. We will always endeavor to select the least
expensive qualified carrier.
All orders shipped overseas will incur additional charges,
allowing for special crating and packaging.
All airfreight shipments that cannot be handled by UPS or
FedEx are subject to an additional surcharge for special handling.
Returns
All returns must occur within 60 days of date of invoice.
Return of product will not be accepted without prior approval
by Century. Century will issue a Return Authorization Number
upon return acceptance. The Return Authorization Number must
appear on all product cartons returned and on all return documentation.
All returns of non-defective product will incur a 25% restocking
fee and must be sent freight prepaid by customer. All unauthorized
returns will be refused and returned to customer at customer’s
expense.
Custom products and any product that has been modified in
any way are not resalable and cannot be returned. Century
reserves the right to refuse any returns.
Return Credit
No credit will be issued for products not arriving in original
and resalable condition. Credit for defective product can
be issued only after receipt and inspection. Credit for returned
products will be issued in the form of a merchandise / product
credit, unless discussed otherwise.
Warranty
Century Architectural Specialties warrants all products to be
free from manufacturing defects for a period of three [3] years
from date of purchase.
This warranty does not include damage or other problems resulting
from improper installation, misuse or normal wear and tear.
Century Architectural Specialties’ liability is limited
to product replacement cost. It does not include freight or
handling expense, installation cost or any other costs or expenses
incurred in connection with the purchase or use of our products.
